WHAT DOES THE GYRO DO?
The gyro is an essential component in many RC helicopters. Gyros in RC helicopters are most commonly used to control unwanted movement on the yaw axis. When an RC helicopter rotates on its yaw axis, the direction the nose points (the heading) changes. The yaw gyro’s job is to sense any undesired rotation around the yaw axis (clockwise or counter clockwise rotation when viewed from above), and to automatically correct the orientation of the RC helicopter. Without a yaw gyro, even if the RC helicopter was trimmed out to fly straight initially, it would eventually begin to drift and rotate right or left. Normal maneuvering of the RC helicopter and external forces can result in undesired yaw rotation. When this occurs, the gyroscope senses this change in yaw and corrects it. This results in stable flight for the RC helicopter and no undesired changes in yaw.
It is the first 3 Channel helicopter with single blade (not coaxial). Normal 3 Channel Helicopters needs a Coaxial Structure to maintain the stability, but this Double Horse 9100 does not need it! It can hover well by just single blade! With extremely cool Carbon Fiber Texture body frame and well painted canopy, who would say it is a toy?

The CB180D looks just like a Expert Helicopter, very small size that no longer than your computer keyboard, using Fixed Pitch Blades, Bell Rotor Head Design, a High Power Main Motor + Tail Motor combination, Shaft Driven Tail Rotor, making the CB180D very easy to hover and flying around. What is Bell Rotor System?
The greatest feature on the CB180 is the 45 degree Stabilizer Bar, we call this design the "Bell Rotor System". It gives the CB180 totally new flying experience. Factory used weight blocks instead of paddles at the end of the stabilizer bar, this makes the CB180 fly "Much More" stable than ordinary rotor head design, as a trade off, it flies slower, but more stable. We tested the CB180 and we found that this new design makes the helicopter as stable as a Co-Axial model, we think Walkera have done it in developing a Single Rotor helicopter for beginners!
Is the CB180D suitable for me?
On the scale of "Models for Beginenrs", I would rate CB180D is easiest, then CB180Z, then V200D01. Because CB180D has the easiest mechanism, best for beginners. CB180Z is a bit complex, but it features 3-Axis Gyro with Auto Stabilizing System. V200D01 is a Flybarless helicopter, it will be less stable than CB180D or CB180Z.
